The scented spiel reeled me unreal

It's been kind of crazy the last few days, between NY, MA, and now RI. This little surge of freedom has really done me some good. Thanks to some good (and patient) friends, we got to escape to Newport for a day.

I love the historic feel of the city; its almost as though a snapshot of history has been frozen in time. Each house has its own colorful signature. It took almost an hour to traverse just a couple of blocks!

Back to reality for one more week until school's over, and I'm already planning my next getaway....and of course outfit!

Williamsburg, how much do I love thee

So today I fiiiiinally got to get out, after a series of brutal exams. That's all behind me now, and today in front of me was tremendous amount of creativity. I love coming to Williamsburg not only for the vintage scouring, but also for inspiration.

Everyone's style is so unique, and no one is afraid to express him/herself. Finding a random rocker concert (Murder City Devils) in the park didn't hurt either. I'm really looking forward to checking out more of 2010 Williamsburg Waterfront Concerts this summer!

Here's what I wore on this super hot day. There definitely was no shortage of rompers in this neighborhood, and I didn't disappoint either!

Can't take NY out of me
