Ahhhh, GUCCI

The last few weeks since school started have been so busy and I havent really been able to post much (sorry). I promise to make up for it very soon (whoever invented the three day weekend is a genious!). For now, I cant stop marveling at this Gucci bag I scored at Savers! Who would have thought such hidden treasures exist in thrift shops? I did!!!! I wish I could shop for everyone, I find so many amazing things in all sizes, and amazing prices. Will definitely be taking orders very soon :)

a Carousel Ride

Felt like a child again riding the carousel at Boston Common today. When life is moving so fast, a nice little reminder of childhood took a load off. So thankful to have great friends and family to help get me through tough times. A great new vintage jacket (below) helps too ;)

Swap day- part deux

I completely forgot to post these pics from the swap! Got to roam through some cool oldies at Blackstone Vignettes vintage shop, while waiting for the swap to begin. Enjoy :) I'm off to watch some creative souls on project runway!

SOWA

Over the past couple of years I've been slowly, but no doubt steadily, adding vintage and thrifted items to my wardrobe. My taste for clothes has always been somewhat unusual, and I really enjoy piecing together the "new" and the "old" for that unique look. After taking stock of all my possessions during my move back to MA, I realized that I almost completely eliminated and replaced the "new" and integrated the new old into my wardrobe repertoire.

Here's what I wore to the S0WA indie design market in Boston, an awesome and funky display of art, fashion, and craft. Top to bottom---> all thrifted!

Check out these great paintings by a really talented artist!

Back to Woo

Just like all good things eventually do, my break came to an end, and I'm officially dreading the beginning of another semester. So glad to have some cheerful colors to keep my spirits up, like this skirt which I picked up at a thrift store yesterday, for $2! I gotta say I'm looking forward to fall, cant wait to showcase my boot collection :)
