floral

So floral was last spring's theme but I'm gonna keep rocking it into 2013. Plus I didn't get to wear these pants nearly enough last season  so it wouldn't be fair. To the pants.

Bangs and stripes

This spring I decided to not only get rid of a few unnecessary things cluttering my apartment but also to shed a few inches of hair. I wonder why there is only one season dedicated to tidying up your things and your life, cause man spring cleaning feels oh so good! I can just imagine what summer, winter, and fall would have in store.

And speaking of stores, I've been visiting a lot of them lately. Its kind of a problem when people in three different sephoras know you by name! Spring has been kind to me so far, I gotta say. This winter was a total snooze and I didn't even know it. But thats why I love New York; with every season the wind sweeps something old away and replaces it with a warmer, sunnier, happier day. And if you're lucky, maybe even a new pair of shoes ;)

makeup routine

By popular demand, I wanted to share some of my favorite makeup products with you guys. So many amazing options to choose from but here's a little snippet into my (messy) makeup bag. I know there's a bunch of stuff on here but if you could only choose one, I HIGHLY recommend the Sugar Passion tinted lip treatment, by Fresh. It's just magic on a stick that gives both color and hydration to your lips, total double whammy. Next on the agenda: Hair products! Coming soon..

Well Red

Finally a day in NYC that doesn't involve three layers of clothes! Although I'm still actually wearing three layers. But who's counting ;)

Embrace the Lace

Lace is the new black, and I'm in the mood for brightening up my wardrobe! I love the delicate texture and romantic feel of the trim which fosters effortless elegance. Fashions come and go, but this trend has been around since the 15th century. Talk about vintage! I forecast a major lace comeback in the near future; move over black!
